When donations are made to a Living Memorial Fund, they help The Children’s Society reach out to children who have been neglected, excluded or left behind by society.
   
In Memory of Make a Donation Mrs Alice Mary May Wimsett 

(1914 to 2010)

In loving memory of Alice Mary May Wimsett, affectionately known to all as Ninny, who passed away in May 2010.  She touched the lives of many people, and will be sorely missed.  Nin was a special lady - always thinking of others ahead of herself, most notably underprivileged children.  This page is dedicated as a living memorial to Nin, who leaves a legacy of support for a number of charitable organizations.  Her fundraising for The Children's Society was a mission - she wouldn`t let you leave her flat without making a donation to TCS!  In lieu of flowers or other frivolous spending to mourn her passing, I think she would be very happy to see money being directed toward this very worthy charity.
